Vaping Products Duty
Below, we are highlighting some of the key points regarding Vaping Products Duty and what you can expect to change in the future.
What is Vaping Products Duty?
Vaping Products Duty introduces a duty or tax on each e-liquid product sold in the UK.
A duty of 22p per 10ml (+VAT) will be applied to all e-liquid products, so this means bottles and pre-filled pods. This means that every 10ml bottle will increase by £2.64, 100ml bottles by £26.40.
For those that purchase our multibuy deals, we expect that it will likely cost £18.00 for 3 bottles, £54.00 for 10 bottles and our 100ml bottles will cost £40ea with nic shots costing you an extra £7.00 for 2 shots.
The duty comes into effect for all e-liquid products manufactured or imported into the UK from the 1st October 2026.
What happens next?
Despite the duty coming into effect on the 1st October 2026, retailers like us have a 6 month grace period to sell any existing stock without duty stamps on them. This means you will be able to purchase from us at the current pricing until the stock runs out.
We do expect stock to be limited so we are accepting bulk orders from customers (see next section).
Stocking Up.
A lot of our customers have already begun to bulk buy their preferred e-liquid products ahead of October, this ensures they have stock at the current price and can continue to vape without the worry of paying the increased cost from October.
For bulk orders, we would please ask that you get in touch with us using the contact page. We may not be able to supply sizeable orders even if the website allows you to place the order. To avoid any inconvenience, let us know what you intend to order and we will facilitate this for you.
Please note that there is currently a deadline of the 27th August 2026 to ensure a bulk order can be placed before the duty scheme comes into effect. Any orders placed beyond this are subject to stock levels we hold at the time.
From October 1st 2026...
From October, we initially expect to see that product pricing remains the same for a limited time. You will then gradually see that as current stock levels dry up, the stock will be replaced with e-liquids that have vaping duty stamps on them and therefore an increased cost.
As we approach 31st March 2027, these stock levels will have significantly dried up and any remaining e-liquids without vaping duty will be the last you can buy at the current prices.
From 1st April 2027, no-one will legally be able to sell any e-liquid products without vaping duty stamps on them.
